Advanced Foot Care at NEXT Clinic focuses on the assessment, treatment, and prevention of common foot and nail conditions, delivered by Licensed Practical Nurses with specialized Advanced Foot Care Nursing training. Services include routine and medical nail care, callus and corn reduction, ingrown toenail management, diabetic foot care, and treatment for fungal nails, right here in Westbank (West Kelowna), BC.

Advanced Foot Care services may be covered by extended health benefits, depending on your individual insurance plan. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to confirm your coverage. Following your appointment, we’ll provide you with a receipt to submit directly to your insurer for reimbursement.

Meet Your Foot Care Team

Jessica Houle, LPN, NSWOC, SWAN is the owner and lead practitioner of Okanagan Diabetes & Advanced Foot Care Inc. and Perfect Strides Medical Foot Care. A Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing with BCCNM, she's highly trained in Advanced Foot Care Nursing, Onyfix®, ToeFX, and Swift® Therapy, and is Podo Expert Certified.

Ireland Walker, LPN and Kayleigh McRae, LPN, AFCN round out the team, each bringing specialized Advanced Foot Care Nursing training and a gentle, evidence-informed approach, with a particular focus on preventing complications for clients managing diabetes and chronic foot conditions.

Conditions We Treat

Our foot care nurses treat a wide range of concerns, including diabetic foot care, ingrown toenails (including non-surgical correction with Onyfix®), fungal nails (ToeFX® and Swift® Microwave Therapy, with PCR lab testing available), calluses and corns, and general nail care.

Yes, new clients need to book an Initial Visit Assessment & Medical Foot Care appointment for their first visit, so we can complete a full health history and foot assessment. Basic Nail Care and Onyfix® or ToeFX® treatments (without additional foot care) don't require this first.
It depends on your individual needs, your practitioner will recommend a schedule based on your health history and the type of care you need.

Professional foot care provides an opportunity to have your feet and nails assessed and cared for by a trained practitioner, particularly when routine foot care is difficult to manage safely on your own.
