What Is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a hands-on therapy that uses thin, sterile needles inserted at specific points along the body to stimulate the nervous system and encourage natural healing. It's one of the oldest documented forms of medicine, and today it's used alongside conventional care for everything from pain management to stress and hormonal support.
Most patients feel little more than a light pinch or a dull, heavy sensation as the needle settles, not sharp pain. Sessions are calm and typically involve 20 to 40 minutes of rest once the needles are in place, giving your body time to respond. Many people find it deeply relaxing, and results tend to build with consistency rather than a single visit.
