Frustrated With Nagging Aches & Pains?

Acupuncture at NEXT Clinic is rooted in traditional Chinese medicine and delivered with a modern, evidence-informed approach. Fine, sterile needles are placed at precise points on the body to ease pain, calm the nervous system, and help the body find its own balance again.

Our acupuncture care has a special focus on women's health, fertility, and hormonal regulation, supporting patients through menstrual irregularities, menopause, and reproductive wellness alongside more general concerns like chronic pain, digestive issues, and stress. Treatments can be paired with Gua sha, cupping, or facial acupuncture to round out your plan.

Every session is tailored to you, and NEXT Clinic offers direct billing to 60+ extended health insurers, plus ICBC billing for accident-related injury care, so getting treatment is as simple as booking it.

What Is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a hands-on therapy that uses thin, sterile needles inserted at specific points along the body to stimulate the nervous system and encourage natural healing. It's one of the oldest documented forms of medicine, and today it's used alongside conventional care for everything from pain management to stress and hormonal support.

Most patients feel little more than a light pinch or a dull, heavy sensation as the needle settles, not sharp pain. Sessions are calm and typically involve 20 to 40 minutes of rest once the needles are in place, giving your body time to respond. Many people find it deeply relaxing, and results tend to build with consistency rather than a single visit.

Conditions We Treat With Acupuncture

  • Chronic pain — neck, back, joint, and muscle pain, including pain from motor vehicle accidents (ICBC-covered assessments and treatment available)
  • Women's health and fertility — menstrual irregularities, PCOS-related symptoms, fertility support, prenatal and labour preparation, and menopause symptoms
  • Digestive disorders — bloating, IBS-type symptoms, and general gut health
  • Hormonal imbalances — supporting the body's regulation alongside medical care
  • Autoimmune conditions — symptom management as part of a broader care plan
  • Stress, anxiety, and sleep — calming the nervous system to support better rest and resilience
  • Skin and facial rejuvenation — via facial acupuncture, often combined with Gua sha or cupping
