Anna Carter
Massage Therapy
Born and raised in the Okanagan, Anna graduated from Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy July 2021 a short distance from home to pursue her career.
Anna completed 3 years of Human Kinetics at Okanagan College and The University of British Columbia Okanagan before she enrolled in to the massage therapy program. During her time at Okanagan College she played 2 years of post secondary basketball in which an injury cut her season short. Over the years of playing basketball Anna recognized how important it was to deal with an injury instead of continuously playing through them and making them worse which sparked her interest in massage therapy.
Recently, Anna has pursued a career in bodybuilding and competed at a national level in 2024.
Being an athlete has been a major part of her life, whether she be on a court playing basketball or in the gym lifting weights, driving her passion to work with the athletic population and help people get back to the things that they love to do.

Carol Domanko
Massage Therapy
Carol began her journey in health and wellness after graduating from film school in 2008. She fell in love with the practice of yoga not only for its physical benefits but for how it boosts mental health. She did her first yoga teacher training in 2011, and began sharing her love for yoga full time. Carol went on to deepen her knowledge and skills, and has since completed over 800 hours of yoga training.
Carol has always loved the hands-on part of yoga, and believes in the healing power of touch and human connection. So in March of 2024, she decided to pursue a career in massage therapy and was accepted at Vicars School of Massage Therapy in Calgary, AB.
The course is a blended program that is both online and hands-on, so she is able to live and work in the Okanagan while completing her studies. The more she learns, the more the body amazes her! She can’t wait to graduate and use her skills to help people feel and move better.
In her down time, you can find Carol spending time with her Labradoodle “Moose”, hiking a mountain, practicing yoga, experimenting in the kitchen with a new recipe, making jewelry for her line “Shakti Bling”, or indulging her creative side in some way.
Dr. Amit Chahal
Chiropractic
Dr. Amit Chahal was raised on an Orchard in Oliver, BC. He completed his Bachelor of Science in microbiology at the University of British Columbia in Kelowna. He then started his Doctor of Chiropractic at the University of Western States in 2018 in conjunction with his Bachelors in Human Biology where he graduated summa cum laude.
Through his years at UWS, he has gained extensive clinical experience backed by the most recent evidence-informed research, which confidently allows him to treat any patient who walks through the door. He is a firm believer in having many tools in his tool bag meaning more than just the “pop” and “crack”. Taking a detailed history and orthopedic exams helps determine what treatment modalities will be used to provide the most evidence-based patient-centered care. This is what truly sets him apart from “other chiropractors”.
His goal is to improve the athletic, pediatric, geriatric, and pre/post-natal patient base through high-quality musculoskeletal care. His sport of choice is basketball and has been playing since he was 5. If he is not busy treating patients you can find Amit and his wife at the dog park with their Labradoodle, Leo. He enjoys the outdoors, traveling, golfing, and spending time with friends and family no matter the occasion.
Dr. Cara Curtis
Chiropractic
Dr. Cara Curtis has been practicing chiropractic since 2013 bringing years of wisdom and clinical experience to her patients. In her hometown of Peace River she grew up figure skating competitively, which led her to seek chiropractic care at a young age. Needless to say she fell in love instantly.
Upon graduating high school Dr. Curtis received her Bachelor of Science with Specialization in Cell Biology from the University of Alberta. During her years spent at the University she worked as a research assistant in a Neuroprostheses and Rehabilitation laboratory. Her work on pressure ulcers under the supervision of Dr. Vivian Mushahwar was published in three different scientific journals.
She then attended the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon where she graduated summa cum laude. Upon graduating Dr. Curtis practiced in Lake Oswego, OR where she specialized in the treatment of disc herniations. Dr. Curtis sustained this specific injury herself which has given her a unique perspective in its treatment & rehabilitation. Although disc herniations are her specialty and personal interest, Dr. Curtis has experience treating a wide range of conditions and patients of all ages.
While out of the office, Dr. Curtis enjoys spending time with family & friends, golfing, cycling, snowboarding, practicing yoga, weight-lifting, and cooking healthy & nutritious meals. She believes in a healthy body and mind and approaches her patient care in the same way.
Dr. Courtney Nickel
Chiropractic
Dr. Courtney Nickel was born and raised in Ontario before she decided the Okanagan lifestyle was the best lifestyle and made the leap of moving here. After visiting British Columbia once, Dr. Courtney fell in love with everything about it - the hiking, the mountains, the people, the activities, oh and did she mention the mountains?!
Chiropractic care has been apart of Dr. Courtney’s life since she was just a baby and has benefited from it her entire life, especially during her time as an athlete on her rowing team in university. Being raised in a small town, Courtney’s childhood chiropractor became her go-to primary medical professional and this is where she learned how much chiropractors know beyond just muscle and joint pain.
On top of her Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Courtney also completed her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology in 2014 and her Masters of Science in Rehabilitation Science in 2019. She then worked for a year as a Registered Kinesiologist where she developed a strong interest in the importance of incorporating active care into a patient’s rehabilitation plan.
As a recent graduate, Dr. Courtney is eager to start using her skills and knowledge to serve the people of the Okanagan! Through all of her schooling and work experience, Courtney has learned the importance of listening to her patients and tailoring care that best suits them. She will take you through an efficient yet thorough history and physical examination in order to determine the root cause of your pain. After that, she will work with you to determine the best approach to care based on your goals and lifestyle.
With the perfect combination of hands-on and active care, Courtney is here to set you up for success in treating and keeping your aches and pains away and to help you live a life with no limitations! Courtney will provide you with the tools to manage your pain outside of treatment through patient-specific exercises and leave you feeling stronger than ever before.
Outside of the clinic, you will often find Courtney with her dog, Stella. Some of her passions include weightlifting, rock climbing, water sports, cooking, and doing puzzles or playing on her Nintendo Switch in her downtime.
